Alden B. Dow Home & Studio is a National Historic Landmark located adjacent to Dow Gardens in Midland, Michigan. This home and studio, designed by Alden B. Dow in the 1930s, was revolutionary in architecture and design for its time - and it is a fascinating place to visit and tour!

Microsoft has released a new capability for Outlook (both 2003 and 2007) that allows users to access their Facebook social network (as well as MySpace and LinkedIn) from their email inbox!

Are they “fans” or “likes”? With the recent change in Facebook, many people are confused about what to call Facebook business page fans. Facebook changed the way people are described when they click to become associated and participate in a Facebook page. They now count these users as the number of “People Who Like This Page.” The “liking” part makes more sense because of how Facebook users already interact, share and communicate. A huge reason for the change is Facebook wants to empower websites with “like” buttons to push more and more interactions back to Facebook.

Online videos are a “hot” commodity that can bring real value to your business or nonprofit website. Not only do they help convey your message more effectively than text or photos, but they also give you a better online footprint!
Videos (like those posted on YouTube) are indexed by search engines. Videos can have a greater chance of being on page 1 than regular page text! It is estimated that for keywords that Google provides video results, you are 50 times more likely to appear on page 1, compared to regular website text.

Since 1924, the Old Newsboys have helped more than 750,000 children during Christmas. The Old Newsboys of Flint works very hard to make sure no child is forgotten during the Holidays.
