Business Social Networking Training Comes to Mid-Michigan

Flint, MI (June 15, 2009) –Twitter…Facebook… LinkedIn…Chances are, you’ve heard about these social networking websites. But, do you know how to use these powerful tools for strategic business purposes? Any business professional in Mid-Michigan who wants to learn how to improve their business using social networking needs to attend the “Business Social Networking Educational Series” this fall. The series is being offered through a partnership between GEMS Solutions and Frankenmuth Community Education.

This series is for all business professionals, whether you’re relatively new to social networking or have been doing it for years. The four hands-on classes will provide tips and strategies that you can start using right away. The classes include:

Sept 16, 2009: Business Social Networking Strategies (2-4 p.m.): This 2-hour seminar covers social networking strategies, success stories, and examples. Learn how your business can fully utilize these tools.
Oct. 7, 2009: Twitter 101 for Business (4-6:30 p.m.): This 2.5-hour computer course covers how to initiate your Twitter account and utilize the tips, tricks, and secrets to tweeting and following.
Oct. 21, 2009: Facebook 101 for Business (4-6:30 p.m.): This 2.5-hour computer course covers how to initiate your business Facebook account along with tips and tricks to build your fans and brand.
Nov. 4, 2009: LinkedIn 101 for Business (4-6:30 p.m.): This 2.5-hour computer course covers how to initiate your LinkedIn profile, create/use groups, and build your network and personal brand.
